Justin Glasspool

Justin is a qualified Fitness and Health Consultant with over twenty years of experience. His approach will help you gain the tools that will give you long lasting, sustainable fitness. He can find the right level of training for you and build on that as your comfort zone grows.

He was recently invited by SKY TV to be a consultant trainer for the series - Fat : The Fight Of My Life. Justin worked with one client (Ben) and helped him lose 10 stones in 8 months, see the results here

Justin has something to offer everyone from those getting fit for the first time to athletes getting ready for their key event. He has a range of experience of training individuals and groups from boot camps to athletes at a professional level including the GBR America's Cup team in New Zealand, the Ericsson Volvo Ocean Racing team and England's Olympic sailing team.

 

His varied experience as an athlete and trainer has led him to understand the discipline and focus required to succeed in sport and in life - Justin is a former Southern Counties boxing champion. Constantly learning from his own experience, he uses his skills and knowledge as a ABA qualified Senior Coach at Lawrence Boxing Club in Lymington where his gym is located. Justin has taken amateurs to compete in national finals and this drive for success is evident in all aspects of his work.

He also really gets a lot out of working with young people : "Many remind me of myself and, in a way, seeing them succeed means I have succeeded too."

Justin is CRB checked and holds the position of Welfare Officer at Lawrence Boxing Club.

Personal Training

You might already be physically fit and looking for new challenges, completely out of shape and needing some motivation or somewhere in between. In any case, Justin can create a programme that is specifically targeted to your needs. The aim is to take you beyond just fitness. Justin's approach incorporates mind and body so health and fitness become a way of being and not just something you have to do.

Justin prides himself on always learning new techniques and making each session challenging (and fun) for his clients.

You will never be stuck on a treadmill or stationery bike and left to your own devices. A full physical assessment is carried out when you sign up and Justin will help you set challenging but achievable goals. Your goals will be reassessed regularly to ensure that you are on track. Classes

Boxfit

Wednesdays 6.30 - 7.30
This is not a wimpy circuit class with a few boxing moves thrown in. Train like a real boxer trains (with an ABA qualified coach) and actually develop a skill in the sport said to be the best all over body workout you can do. Expect to be pushed to your limits.

Through an ever changing programme of exercises that include pad work, punchbags, skipping, medicine balls, and plyometrics, Justin's no nonsense approach challenges everyone to achieve their best. You will learn the discipline and skill boxing requires and be able to transfer this to other sports and even your everyday life.

Justin has been taking BoxFit classes for over twenty years and many of the current participants have been attending from the start!!

These are 45 minute small group classes with a maximum of 12. There is a variety of activities in each class using kettlebells, ropes, weights, tyres, body weight exercises and high-intensity training, to improve strength, aerobic fitness and mobility. No two classes are ever the same.
